Many emissions standards focus on regulating pollutants released by automobiles (motor cars) and other powered vehicles(Dey & Mehta, 2020). About 90% of our product consumption is moved by sea (UK Research and Innovation, 2021), every year world trade grows, increasing the number of ships, this industry is responsible for around 940 million tonnes of CO2 annually, which is about 2.5% of the world's total CO2 emissions (UK Research and Innovation, 2021). |

The IMO has set mandatory Legislation demanding global marine reduce carbon intensity by 40% by 2030, 70% by 2050, and an overall GHG emission reduction of 50% by 2050 (Schuitmaker, 2018). Fuel cell power running on hydrogen is widely accepted as the optimal solution to reducing GHG, but this is only viable if the marine industry can overcome the supply, cost of transport, storage, and refueling challenges of providing hydrogen to the vessel (IEA, 2019). |

At present DK NAVAL TECHNOLOGIES has developed a technology system called Earthflux microgrid that harnesses the Wind, Sun, and Wave energy, to cleverly utilize Nature in our drive to reduce emissions. This system can be scaled up or integrated with hybrid power systems. The Earthflux microgrid is the manifestation of our belief that Renewable Energy can and will play a significant role in Global Decarbonisation. Harnessing Wind, Sun, and Wave energy, this system can be scaled up or integrated with hybrid power systems to cleverly utilize Nature in our drive to reduce emissions. In 2022, the Earthflux microgrid was named Runner Up in the ZeroEmissions@Berth Innovation Competition organized by the Maritime Cluster of Germany. |
